              holly headcanons !!    ^{part one .}

^{-   before she was born , karen had picked out the full name angela marie wheeler for her third child .  however , holly was born a month earlier than expected , on december 26th , so karen had decided to name her holly instead . angela - marie is now her middle name .
-    she went through a brief phase around age twelve where she decided she HATED all things girly .  it didn’t last , and she soon learned that she could like girly things as well as things like skateboarding , and star wars , and video games .
-    one of her favorite people in the world is none other than will byers , who is always teaching her things and showing her things and playing with her when he isn’t otherwise occupied .
-    growing up with mike and nancy around , all of the crazy shit they get into is pretty much normalized for her . she isn’t there always , but she hears them talk about it , and since she doesn’t talk much in general , they figure she won’t say anything .
-    holly is a naturally quiet person — she’s usually more lost in her own thoughts or focused on what she’s doing than contributing to any sort of conversation . she just doesn’t talk much . when she does , however , thanks to the other wheelers , it’s mostly sass or swears .
-    did karate AND ballet when she was little . she quit ballet when she went through her anti - girl phase , and karate switched to jiu jitsu when a new place opened up relatively close . she picks up new hobbies quick , and sometimes has trouble sticking with just one thing .
-    in the span of middle school and high school , holly took part in — yearbook , photography club , softball , lacrosse , student council , swim club , soccer , creative writing , drama club , choir and the debate team . out of everything , she only really stuck with soccer & creative writing .
-    she somehow convinced max to teach her to skateboard when she was only seven — she now prefers it to a bike .
-    she absolutely ADORES steve .}
